Day 3 ~ Polar Express Week

Today was all fun as the children were able to come to school in their pajamas!  Our room parent, Tami Moran, and her elf helpers were busy preparing the classroom early in the morning and as the children entered they were given a hand stamp and a round trip ticket on the Polar Express.  With the Polar Express movie playing up on the smart board, each student could enjoy hot chocolate from the hot chocolate bar to go along with their donut holes and popcorn.  Each student had a train cookie and goodie bag to take home.

Welcome to Room 5...oops!

I mean "All Aboard and welcome to the Polar Express!" 

Thank you to Mrs. Clough for spending hours decorating the classroom door to look like the front of a train.

 

Even the classroom windows look fabulous and festive with artwork and projects the students have been working on.

 And now for a peek inside the classroom.
Look at how adorably festive Room 5 looked on the morning of December 19th!  The fun began the minute the students sat down in their seats to a musical Santa hat and festive reindeer pop.  Yum!
