Welcome to my blog!
I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about who I am.
I am married and have three grown children ~ Christopher (28), Matthew (26), and Alissa (18). I earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from USC. I love reading, gardening and spending time with my family. Teaching has been my career for 25 years.
I have taught kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grade. First grade, however, has captured my heart. I consider teaching my hobby, not a job. I strive to use innovative ways to teach the California State Standards every day to every child in my room.
Watching the children grow though out the year is extremely rewarding and a wonderful experience.
